The complete big jam at The Musician pub, Leicester, 28 June 2005, and a recording that was almost a disaster. The Minidisc monitor mix recording (not done correctly, and not Chris's fault), had hardly any notable Endgame input (except towards the end), Simon's guitar was way too quiet, and Mick's violin was hardly there at all. Luckily I also recorded the Endgame element on cassette, and with some simple multi-tracking on a computer, managed to piece it all back together, bringing out the guitar to the fore on a few occasions, and at least making the violin heard in a couple of places. Such a powerful cosmic excursion, I decided to only mix and balance, and not edit it down (just mixing out a couple of errors and unwanted feedback), for an as authentic as we can get it document of this extraordinary 8 man jam.
